In the Department of Orthopaedics, we treat skeletal deformities, including disorders of joints, bones, ligaments, muscles, tendons, skin, and nerves, in patients of different ages. They also take care of new born with club foot, and old people with rheumatoid arthritis. Orthopedists also treat fractures, torn ligaments, dislocations, strains and sprains, tendon injuries, sciatica and pulled muscles, low back pain, bursitis, ruptured disks, bow legs, scoliosis, knock knees, hammertoes, bone tumors, cerebral palsy, growth abnormalities, muscular dystrophy, among others. In addition to rehabilitation, the team educates and advises the patients on performing physical therapies and exercises to restore strength, movement, and function. In addition to handling complex cases, the team has experience managing multi-system trauma cases as well. Specialized services are also offered to treat cases of shoulder, foot, hand, knee, hip, spine, and sports trauma.
